The Snack Trap has been a staple in our house for a long time, so I’ve got some first-hand knowledge on these.  Little ones are notoriously messy – sometimes just because they are developing their fine motor skills, and sometimes just to be ornery!

The Snack Trap helps minimize the amount of little finger foods that you will have to clean up off your floor and in your car.  The slitted lid lets the child retrieve a couple of pieces of food at a time, and closes automatically when they pull their hand out.  When the cup gets dropped or turned over (which is a guarantee with a baby!), the food stays in the cup!

It also makes it harder for the kiddos to grab handfuls of food, reducing the number of purposeful spills (maybe it’s just me, but my little ones took great joy in watching their food drop to the floor!) and the amount of food they can shove into their mouth at one time.

Living on the Florida coast, we can always count on plenty of sun and plenty of rain.  Planning for the weather and protecting ourselves against it is just something we get used to.
The Sport-Brella is a very innovative product, and I love the fact that it has multiple uses!  This is a great product to use at the beach.  We always seem to have trouble getting our beach umbrella to stay put when the wind kicks up.  Since the Sport-Brella sits on the ground, and can be staked down for additional stability, you won’t be constantly adjusting it.
I could also see using this at our kids’ soccer games.  My husband and the other coach struggle to put up this big, bulky tent to cover the girls sitting on the sidelines.  The Sport-Brella opens in seconds just like a regular umbrella, and at 8 feet wide, would provide plenty of coverage.

I think we all know how expensive it can be to fly these days.  In fact, when my youngest turned two last week, I pointed out to my husband that it will now require 5 tickets for us to fly, and he replied that from now on we will only vacation in places we can reach by car!

As infants, our children always traveled in our laps when we were on an airplane.  We simply could not justify the cost of an additional seat.  However, I did have concerns about safety issues and losing my grip on a wiggly baby during turbulence.
